FOUR SEASONS

Any season of the year, there is incredible scenery and opportunities to explore, from seeing the old growth forest, which includes the last large virgin stand of uncut hardwood-hemlock forest, to visiting the many waterfalls in the area. Opportunities to hike, camp, photograph nature, canoe, kayak, cross-country ski, downhill ski, snowshoe and snowmobile abound.

Amateur and professional photographers alike love to visit the Porcupine Mountains area. Throughout the year, photographic opportunities abound.
